E-E-A-T & Quality Standards

What is E-E-A-T?

Google evaluates content against four signals:

YMYL Requirements

For finance, health, legal, or other Your Money or Your Life (YMYL) topics:

  • Author bio with credentials must be included
  • Content must be reviewed by a subject matter expert
  • Financial disclaimers required where applicable
  • Claims must be backed by authoritative sources
  • Last-updated dates must be visible on every page

Information Gain

Every article must include at least one original element:

  • Unique worked example or scenario
  • Original data table or comparison
  • Step-by-step process with screenshots
  • Real-world case study or benchmark
  • Template, calculator, or checklist
  • Practitioner perspective or process notes
important

NeuronWriter terms help identify what competitors cover. Your job is to cover that and add something they don't. Information gain separates ranking content from average content.

AI Content Standards

AI-assisted content must pass these checks:

  • Natural language — no keyword stuffing, robotic phrasing, or repetitive structures
  • Factual accuracy — every claim verifiable; no hallucinated statistics or citations
  • Original perspective — not a rewrite of the top 3 SERP results
  • Proper citation — named sources, not "studies show" without attribution
  • Human value — answers the searcher's intent completely
